Backstory
Higuchi never got along well with her parents, especially her mother. Her father was often absent, and her mother could be verbally abusive. If it hadn't been for her younger sister, whom Higuchi felt obligated to protect, she would've run away from home. As she got older, her resentment for her parents only worsened. At 13, she had her first encounter with the Port Mafia. While she can't recall the exact words exchanged that night, she remembers what she had been promised. If she were to join the Port Mafia, she could have an escape from her family and safety for her sister. From that point on, Higuchi worked for the Port Mafia. Her jobs at first were less violent since she was a young girl, but she was trained for more brutal jobs early on. She showed her impressive skills with firearms and her undying loyalty. Her parents, when she was 16, were killed in an "accident." Higuchi had been able to hide her Port Mafia connections from them, and once she had risen high enough within the ranks, she sent out the order for them both to be killed. This had devastated her sister, and Higuchi became her primary caretaker. While hiding her profession from her sister, Higuchi's sister is under the impression that Higuchi works as a bodyguard and nothing more.

She had a lithe figure and appeared to be only about twenty. At her desk were a multitude of items, messily arranged. One of the items was a cup of tea that her fingers lay curled around. While her hardened amber eyes lay on the phone that lay just parallel to her cup, she was waiting for something, anything. News? Maybe, she herself couldn't be completely certain.ㅤ ..ㅤ Her attention was stolen as she heard a small creak from the door of her office. For a mere moment, a hopeful gleam was in her eyes, but that was quickly gone. It wasn't who she was looking for. She couldn't quite see who it was, however from what she could tell it was most likely one of the Port Mafia's new recruits. The posture she had been holding straightened. ㅤ .. ㅤ "Is there a problem? "ㅤ .. ㅤ Higuchi asked. She remained professional. Yet there was a layer of tenderness in her voice. She had always felt inclined to offer new members of the Port Mafia a less hostile presence. The mafia was anything besides kind, yet Higuchi couldn't help herself. It was one of the reasons her subordinates at first didn't offer her much respect. ㅤ.. ㅤ These thoughts often caused her to wander off track, question herself.
